ASUU STRIKE AFFECTS EKITI STATE UNIVERSITY(EKSU)

The Students Union Government,held a meeting with the Vice-Chancellor of the institution(EKSU) today,Professor Sam Oye Bandele, while speaking with Students Leaders today on the Asuu national strike ,he said the action also affects Ekiti State University .

With the recent happenings in the University palace as with relations to the the forth coming examination, we hence make the following notifications and clarification:

1. That there is ASUU Nation wide strike.

2. The Nation wide  Asuu strike which begins on the Monday 15th of August 2017 also commence in Ekiti State University.

3. (I) There is going to be Non -teaching services, Medical services and also security services, set in place by the University to help ease the stress this action will cause.

(Ii)  We are going  to write the examinations immediately the said strike as been suspended or called-off and also when the internal issues is resolved (No Salaries, No Exam).

(iii) The school management and the Students union body hereby advice the students to go back to their various residence and make use of the asuu national strike as opportunities to go into Entrepreneurship skills
